My dog, Boo. He is 7 years old and is part German Shepherd, part Husky, and part Wolf. He loves his Reiki treatments, and always snuggles in for more! He doesn't go in the Reiki room, however, when I am treating a client, he is always at the door.

Reiki is an ancient Tibetan healing art, once lost to the ages, then rediscovered by a Japanese fellow named Dr. Mikao Usui near the turn of the last century. It was brought first to Japan, then Hawaii, the U.S.A., and for many years now it has also been in Canada.

I believe that all people should receive these attunements, as Level 3 allows the Master/Teacher/Practitioner to work on 4 different levels to help heal the client (and themselves), as well as being able to do distance healings and teach and attune others.

Reiki helps the body work the way it was meant to. With years of abuse to our bodies, whether intentional or not, our systems sometimes feel overwhelmed and  store toxins that, if our organs were working properly, they would normally process and expel.

Even some practitioners of Western Medicine nowadays have learned Reiki in order to add to their own practices. Reiki is not an alternative to Western Medicine, but rather and enhancement. It has no religious affiliations. It is pure Universal Life Force Energy, that which we already possess in our own bodies (so do animals, trees, Gaia, plants, etc., anything that is alive).

As a Practitioner, one is attuned to the energy and is opened up energetically (removing blockages), so that it flows freely from the Universe, through the Crown Chakra of the Master or Practitioner, through the body to the hands (and sometimes the breath and eyes) of the Master or Practitioner, then out to the client.

I also work with animals and find animals very receptive to Reiki, and enjoy their healing as much as healing humans! Both my horse and dog love Reiki energy.

I just got my Reiki Level I attunement from Anne, using distance chi balls. Just before I called in the energy I could feel it already surrounding me, waiting for me, this sense of excitement and energy. Throughout the three individual attunements I could feel focus shifting from my hands to my crown chakra, to the third eye, throat, heart and thymus chakras, too. The feeling of the energy varied, from feeling cool or warm, to swirly, to a steady flow. Throughout the process, I felt incredibly relaxed, almost falling asleep towards the end of the third attunement. When the third attunement was over, I suddenly felt wide awake, completely relaxed but grounded and filled with energy and quietly excited. I still feel sort of "buzzy" in my crown chakra. I can't wait to start practicing!

As a side note, There were 4 attunements. I sent the first attunement by itself, the second and third together, and the fourth by itself, all in Chi Balls.

I contracted severe food poisoning at work and was unable to receive any treatment until much later. Anne Clarke prepared a "Chi Ball" for me to call upon arriving home.

I lay unconscious as I usually do for Reiki Treatment. When I woke up I recovered quickly to near normal condition, even to entertain guests for dinner that same day.

Here is an update on TG:

Anne has been working with me regularly sending both reiki and chi balls, some days more than once; I went to the dr. today...my blood pressure is down and maybe I dont have to take meds for it anymore, I lost another 8 lbs, and have gone down another size in jeans.

In fact my dr walked past me as I was waiting for the washroom and she actually stopped dead in her tracks. She cannot believe the change in me in the last six months, she said whatever I was doing was really working, and she also agreed I may start tapering off the narcotic's.

She has been my dr since I came back from italy, A really good woman and frankly I will miss her. Now she is my friend, not my dr. I love that!

I was born with Chronic Upper Respiratory Infections. As a child I was diagnosed as being deaf. My mother had called my name when I was watching TV one day when I was about 5 years old.

When I didn't answer her she came up right behind me and clapped her hands as loud as she could right behind my head. I didn't even flinch. The Ear Nose and Throat Specialist found, through many tests, that I had 5 % hearing in one ear and none in the other.

After several procedures I was tested again back in the late 1980's. At that point in time I was told that I had 35% hearing loss in one ear and 30% loss in the other. I was also told that my ears would never get better, only worse. I was forced to wear hearing aides in both ears for several years in order to hear.

After I learned Reiki I was determined that I was going to heal myself. I did Reiki on my ears on and off for about 2 years. After that I had my ears tested again. I am now in the top 5% of hearing. At work in a taxi cab company dispatch office (my night job), the first thing I do when I sit at my station, before I code in to my phone, is plug my headset in and turn the volume from 7-9 to 1. I keep it consistently at 1-3 my whole shift. I have noticed in walking by other people's stations that 7-9 seems to be the norm.

Along with the Chronic Upper Respiratory Infections has come sinusitis. I also have had problems with my nose. It used to be entirely plugged on one side and almost plugged on the other. I had an operation back in the mid 1980's, (everything except Rhinoplasty) but it did not solve all of my problems. Reiki has helped that immensely also. A few minutes doing Reiki on my Third Eye Chakra and my sinuses clear right up. I find this with clients as well.

I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovaries in 2002. Along with that came Type II Diabetes and Hypothyroidism. I began on Metformin, 4 pills a day (500 mg each) back then. My both grandmothers, father, mother, sister and niece all have/had Diabetes. They all progressed to more and more pills per day (except my grandmothers who died at an early age), then on to Insulin. Instead of that, thanks to God/dess and Reiki, I have gone from 4 pills a day to 1 (1/2 and 1/2). I have been consistently on that amount for a few years now.

As for the Thyroid problems, I am still on 75 mcg of Synthroid per day(one pill).

I have also kept my Crohn's Disease (which I was diagnosed with back in 1993) in virtual remission for several years and have never had to have any intestines removed. I also have never had to take Asacol since I began doing Reiki on myself. Before that there were bouts where the doctor had me on the highest dose at that time, 9 pills per day. It gave me migraine headaches. I am glad that I have not had to take those pills for a long time now.

My doctor tells me that if he didn't know better he would say, by my blood pressure, that I am a 21 year old athlete. I just turned 50 December 27th, 2008!!! On a regular basis my blood pressure ranges from 110/70 to 120/80.

Not bad considering that I have a very stressful job and my life has been threatened on a weekly basis or even more frequently. People who do not get their cabs on time, or who are refused cabs because they are too drunk, belligerent, or abusive, can have the abuse escalate easily and can direct it to the call taker. We try not to take things personally, but when our work address is in the phone book it does make us wonder sometimes.

I also have been diagnosed with ADD and Tourette's Syndrome. I have managed to cut my meds down to bare minimum for the ADD and to nothing at all for the Tourette's. Most people don't even notice that I have Tourette's nowadays.

Reiki and Shamballa Multidimensional Healing have done wonders for my life. That is why I teach and heal all over the world.

It may be hard to explain to someone just exactly how Reiki works but there is one thing that I have absolutely no doubt about. Reiki does work!

Crystals are so full of love. It is wonderful! biyu could see and feel the love that encompassed the energy that was sent in the Chi Ball. Chi balls are made with intent. The ones I send for healing are a mixture of different types of Reiki, depending on what the client needs, and Shamballa Multidimensional Healing (which has 3 different types of energy in them; Reiki, Mahatma, and Christ energies)

They cost the same as an in person treatment and can be sent to anywhere in the world! The intensity of the energy is the same, or sometimes even more than, an in person treatment.

The client calls it in when they are ready for it. It hovers close by until that time. They work on physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual levels all at once, and on past, present, and future.

I have a client that has not been able to make it over to my office twice this month because of inclement weather. He asked for Chi Balls to be sent instead both times.

It is nice to be able to come here and relax on the table. To some it is their "sanctuary". However, it is also nice to know that even if one cannot make it here, their treatment still awaits them in the comfort of their own home or wherever they happen to be.

I have been practicing Reiki for about 8 years. After taking my Level 1 Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki course and receiving my Level 1 attunement, I felt very energized, and had to go on to find out what Levels 2 and 3 were all about. Then I felt the need to explore other forms of Reiki, as well as several other healing modalities. They all have their purpose.

My Usui Shiko Ryoho Reiki lineage is tenth in line including Dr. Mikao Usui himself.

I respectfully acknowledge and honour all Reiki Masters before me, and the Guides,  Masters, and Angels (as well as the clients themselves in their willingness to be healed and balanced), who help in the healing process of all clients as well as myself.
